Joanna’s Approach
I've spent my life in the company of horses—raised on a family-run riding facility and in the saddle since I was old enough to walk. Since 1998, I've been training, competing, teaching, and most importantly, listening—to what horses are truly telling us.
Today, I specialize in equine behaviour, classical schooling, and emotional wellness. As a certified coach in both Poland and Canada, my work bridges science and intuition, tradition and innovation.
I’m known for working with horses who don’t fit the mold—sensitive horses, complex horses, misunderstood horses. The ones who need a training plan grounded in patience, not pressure.
Simple Goals
To help thoughtful riders and owners build real partnerships with their horses—based on clarity, respect, and mutual understanding.
Solid Techniques
I use a structured, compassionate approach informed by the SET® model (Safety, Experience, Training) and grounded in both behavioural science and classical principles.
in-Person Coaching
Whether you're navigating challenges, starting fresh, or simply want to understand your horse on a deeper level—I’m here to support your journey.
Lessons can be either in groups or private. You don’t have to train the way everyone else does. Book an assessment to see what may be the right fit for you.
Riding Review
Feedback from where you are. Submit your riding video for analysis and receive insightful feedback on what you’re doing well, ways to improve and exercises to help your equine partner.
Every horse is an individual—and knowing who they are changes everything.
The Horse Personality Portrait (HPP) is a science-backed assessment that goes beyond surface behaviour to uncover your horse’s unique temperament, character, and learning style. It’s built on real-world experience, equine behaviour research, and a deep respect for each horse’s inner world.
